Sarah Grunberger is the program assistant at the Institute for Educational Leadership. In this capacity, she provides administrative, logistical and programmatic support to the staff of the Center for Family, School, and Community.

Prior to her work at IEL, Sarah participated in an Americorps program called AVODAH. Through this program, she worked as the Student Support Services Associate at Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter High School. Her responsibilities included providing daily administrative support in the college counseling office and regularly serving as a substitute teacher.

Sarah graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Jewish Studies and Human Development. While at the University of Maryland, Sarah volunteered at the Help Center, a peer counseling and crisis intervention hotline open to University of Maryland students and the Prince George's community.
