As Web administrator, Shawn Ifill is responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and updating of IEL’s various Web sites. Shawn provides Web support and advice to IEL’s staff, as well as manages the organization’s newsletters and mailing lists.
Before joining IEL, Shawn worked as a Web developer and IT consultant for his own information technology business. Over the course of his career, Shawn gained a wealth of technical and professional knowledge that he ultimately wanted to apply to a worthy cause. So, in October 2006, he joined IEL to help champion the education and development of America’s children.
Shawn studied computer information systems at Howard University in Washington, DC.
